Dr. Dinesh Basnet is an Assistant Professor at Shanker Dev Campus, a constituent campus of Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu, Nepal. He has been actively involved in research and academic activities. He has published several research papers in Scopus-indexed journals. At Shanker Dev Campus, he teaches organizational behavior, human resource management, recent trends in management, research methodology, and leadership and communication. His areas of interest include Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Leadership, Artificial Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence, Training and Development, Research, Emerging Trends in Management, Workplace Spirituality, Stress Management, HR analytics, and Curriculum Design. Overall, Dr. Basnet is a dedicated and accomplished academic committed to advancing knowledge and contributing to the development of his field.
Dr. Basnet received his BBA from Tribhuvan University and then went on to earn his MBA from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, India. He received his MPhil degree from Kathmandu University School of Management. Moreover, he obtained his PhD degree from the Faculty of Management, Tribhuvan University, where he specialized in human resource management. He was awarded a UGC grant during his PhD studies.
Dr. Basnet has taught various courses, including Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Recent Trends in Management, Research Methodology, Business Environment, Leadership and Communication, and HR analytics. He specializes in soft skills and case analysis. He also provides training in SPSS, PROCESS macro, NVivo, SmartPLS, AMOS, and R programming for data analysis.
As a researcher, Dr. Basnet has published several articles in Scimago Indexed Journals and other peer-reviewed journals and presented his work at various national and international conferences. His research interests include organizational behavior, human resource management, leadership, recent trends in management, and HR analytics.
